Good to know

This home has a private condo on the ground floor with 1 King bed and 1 queen pull out couch, a full bath and a full kitchen. Three more bedrooms are on the 2nd floor. The house has a total of 4 King beds and 1 sleeper couch that can comfortably sleep 10 adults. Two additional bunk beds in the 3rd bedroom can ideally sleep 2 more kids for a total of 12 guests. A second larger kitchen and living space are on the 3rd floor. Decks on both the 3rd and 4th floors. Entrance is on ground level. Internet and WiFi: Fast wireless internet with triband mesh WiFi (Speeds pictured). Password and access provided at check-in. Streaming video services including Peacock TV, Disney+, Netflix, Hulu and ESPN+ are provided on all TV’s. Kitchen: Utensils, plates, cups, mugs, cutlery, cookware, cutting boards and commonly used spices are provided. Miscellaneous We will provide you with a few tide pods, dishwasher pods, toilet paper, paper towels, and K-cups and tea for your first morning's coffee. This will get you started on your first day before a grocery store run. Essentials such as body wash, shampoo, conditioner, towels (including beach towels), linens and pillows included. Plenty of beach chairs and beach accessories. Baby gates and Pack 'N Pla ycan be provided on request. Finally, a propane grill is available but guests will need to purchase propane tank. Can be purchased at Carolina Petro, only a few blocks down from the house. House also comes with an outdoor shower Beach accessories include: 10+ beach chairs, 2 beach umbrellas, cooler, wagon, beach toys & 2 bicycles

For clarity, the checkout instructions sent to all guests are as follows: 1) Load all dirty dishes and start dishwasher prior to departure. 2) Return all beach accessories (boogie boards, beach chairs, toys, etc) and bicycles to their proper locations in the garage. 3) Place all garbage in the provided large trash bags and place all trash and recycling in the large bins situated outside the house. Please roll the bins to the curb for trash & recycling pick up. 4) Conduct a final check to ensure you haven’t forgotten anything 5) Lock all main doors and windows and ensure the garage is closed prior to departure. 6) If you used the golf cart, please park the golf cart in the garage & plug the charger into the golf cart

Neighborhood

Carolina beach has so much to offer! House sits a few blocks from the Ocean Grill Tiki Bar and 1/2 mile from Carolina Beach boardwalk with fun bars, roof top restaurants and live music. The famous Britts donuts is a must-see but be ready to wait in line! The greenway is only a few blocks from the house and ends at a park with pickle ball, tennis, skatepark, dog park and basketball courts. (Watch for the alligator that lives in the pond!). Good Hops is a cute little brewery with free disc golf. Want to rent a boat? Visit Carolina Beach Yacht Club where you can rent a pontoon for a half or full day and head to all the local beaches including the Masonboro Island Reserve where you can spot plenty of wildlife, jellyfish and seabirds. Carolina beach has it all and is only about 15 miles into Wilmington and Wrightsville beach, if you wish for a change of scenery for a day!

Benjamin was a great host and communicated very well with us throughout our stay. There were a few hurdles we had to overcome (golf cart was having battery issues and the garage door wasn’t working) and he helped resolve them as best he could, right away. He also communicated clearly with us when the handyman would be coming by so we knew what to expect and how to plan around it. The house is beautiful and well cared for. There are lots of extra things that were thought of to make guests feel at-home. Our group had a lovely stay and would highly recommend!

Perfect place for a quick beach trip! Awesome amenities with beach chairs, beach wagon, and a cooler! Benjamin was super helpful by being proactive with communication and providing local recommendations. Wish we were old enough to use the golf cart but definitely next year! Overall great stay would love to come again!

We had a wonderful stay at Benjamin's place. There is plenty of space for a group or large family. We loved sitting on the top deck in the breeze at night and riding all over the area in the golf cart!

Our family traveled from different parts of North Carolina and Houston to meet up in Carolina Beach, and Redwood Villa exceeded every expectation! The house was absolutely spotless, and every detail was thoughtfully considered—from a fully stocked kitchen (including spices, plates, and even kids’ cups) to more than enough towels for everyone. We loved the variety of spaces to gather, from the patio to the balcony, making it perfect for quality family time. The extra kitchenette and bedroom on the first level provided a great mix of privacy and convenience. The location was fantastic—just a short walk to the beach—and the golf cart was an absolute gem, making it easy and fun to explore the area. Benjamin was an outstanding host, incredibly responsive and always right on time for anything we needed. We truly felt welcomed and at home. We can’t wait to return—this is officially our home away from home!

We have stayed at dozens and dozens of airbnbs and this was by far the best!!! Kitchen was fully stocked and even had a crockpot and griddle (which we NEVER have had)! Beautiful space! Bedrooms were comfy. Lovely deck area with good seating. Amazing extras.. tons of beach chairs, toys and even a golf cart with free beach parking! Benjamin was super accommodating and helpful!!!! Highly recommend this property for your next family gathering on Carolina Beach!

Great house! Loved all the king size beds in all the rooms! Clean, spacious, well stocked, central to all we did. Great spot for the winter! Bikes worked well! Can’t say enough, fab vacation. Highly recommend doing a “Cape Fear Boil Pot!” Lots of fun with large families!

My stay at Susan and Ben's Airbnb was absolutely delightful! The house was impeccably clean and looked exactly as depicted in the photos. Ben was an excellent host! His home was so clean and so accommodating. We loved how each room had a king bed plus the bunk bed in one room. The bathrooms were perfect too. We are planning another trip back soon

Golf carts can be driven on the whole island besides Dow Road. Driver and all passengers must wear seat belts. A golf cart is available for rental on-site for $55 day for your stay, if you’re interested. Driver of golf cart must be 25 years or older. Driver must provide a copy of driver's license and sign a golf cart use disclosure prior to using the golf cart.
